Well isn’t this the pot calling the kettle…oh never mind. The hits just keep coming from that leader of the trans-racial movement, Rachel Dolezal.
Hat tip to IJReview for digging up this gem of an interview from October 2014 where Rachel talks about how deeply offensive it is for white actors to portray play people of color.
In this case, she was referring to Christian Bale’s performance in “Exodus” as Moses.I kid you not, she said it was “…highly offensive to the people that actually were living during that time and also to people today. It’s robbing and shredding ancestry and history.”
Wait…how can it be offensive for the people actually living during that time? You mean Egyptians had movie theatres too? Boy, they certainly were an advanced culture.
And shall we talk a bit more about “robbing and shredding ancestry?”Oy vey. This woman really needs some serious help, but I fear she’s going to end up with her own TV series or book deal, considering how our popular culture seems to celebrate this type of oddity. I know we’re not helping matters by continuing to write about it, but hypocrisy IS one of our favorite subjects – and the left provides a mother lode of richness to mine daily.
