I call baloney on Kerry’s baloney about the Taliban swap

Well, they were slow in getting it going, but the liberal progressive-Obama administration spin cycle is in full throttle now in the case of Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl and the senior Taliban prisoner release.

But first I have a question for the astute progressive socialists to answer: why did Obama acquiesce to Taliban demands to release THESE five individuals from GITMO? Why did Obama cower to the demands of a terrorist organization and release the enemy, back to the enemy, at a time when the enemy is still fighting our men and women in a combat zone?

Please respond – and save your personal attacks for later in the week. I’m sure you’ll need them.

If the Obama administration wanted this exchange to happen, why not just say, “you get this one fella?”

Well, to protect Obama’s backside, we now have that heroic former Navy officer, John Kerry — yes, heroic as defined by liberal progressives — chiming in. According to Fox News, Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday the Taliban detainees released in a prison swap for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl could indeed return to terrorism. But the argument that troops in Afghanistan would be more at risk was “baloney” because the United States is winding down its military presence in that country.

So let me clarify what the man just said – the same man who chatted up the enemy in Paris while still a commissioned officer, lied about fellow Americans still serving in combat, and threw his medals away at a protest. Kerry said the senior Taliban leaders could indeed return to terrorism, but nooooo, that doesn’t put US troops in harm’s way.

So, these savage barbarians — of whom two are wanted by the United Nations for war crimes – (gee, have you heard anything from UN Secretary General Bad Moon Rising about the release? Me neither.) — will be free to return to Afghanistan in one year. That means 2015 — and we’re supposedly going to have 9,800 American troops in Afghanistan until 2016. Obama and Kerry have accurately surmised these rascals will probably return to terrorist activities, I guess when they get back to Afghanistan — in 2015. But according to this dummy Kerry — and I seriously mean that – they’re not at risk?

Hell, why not just have our troops throw them a welcome party next year when these chaps return to Afghanistan!

The man who once “reported for duty” to be President of the United States throws in the towel: “Our combat role in Afghanistan is over. We’re going to have very few people in that kind of position.” But he tries to argues the detainees won’t really want to return to battle because of the risk of deadly consequences.

Like that’s going to happen. Kerry’s motivational message to our warriors in the field of battle: we’ve told the enemy we’re quitting, but don’t worry, they’ll play by our rules. Kerry fails to acknowledge the enemy has a vote. And as long as the enemy hasn’t been defeated, combat isn’t over — even if you really, really want it to be.

And so Kerry further embarrasses himself by basically stating, our men in combat are good enough to bail us out from our stupidity of releasing these terrorists when we tell them to capture them again. How freakin’ motivating is that — and if you kill them, well, the liberal progressive leftist will castigate you as a war criminal and put you in jail – that’s just how insidious and upside down they are! Trust me, I have personal experience.

Kerry justifies his baloney by saying the released terrorists will wind up putting themselves at the mercy of those people who are very effective at dealing with them. “I am not telling you that they don’t have some ability at some point to go back and get involved, but they also have an ability to get killed if they do that,” he continued. And I’m certain it will be Obama and Kerry going back in there to kill the folks they released — yeah, right!

Where in God’s blessed name did we find these idiots? So you have the enemy captured and off the battlefield. Then you surrender to the enemy’s demands to release their five most dangerous members. Then you tell Qater, a country that has previously supported terrorists, to keep an eye on them for a year. And after the year is up, they can go back to the country they were terrorizing where you will still have troops in harm’s way, since the enemy hasn’t been defeated — but you say you’re not going to fight because you’ve declared “combat is over.”

This ain’t like the nuns at a Catholic school ringing the bell to signal the end of recess!

“What I know today is what the president of the United States knows, that it would have been offensive and incomprehensible to consciously leave an American behind, no matter what, to leave an American behind in the hands of people who would torture him, cut off his head, do any number of things,” Kerry said.

Then Johnny-boy, can you and Barry explain to all of us what took you five years to do it?
