Race hustler industry tries to cash in on Duck Dynasty

You just knew it was coming, although we always want to believe it will just go away. What am I talking about? The race hustler industry.

The latest iteration of the movie, “Return of the Poverty Pimps” has Jesse Jackson inserting himself into the Phil Robertson “Duck Dynasty” episode.

According to a report from Fox Nation, “Reverend Jesse Jackson has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Duck Dynasty, comparing Phil Robertson to the driver who had ordered Rosa Parks to sit in the back of the bus.” Say what?

Jackson said:

These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago. At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was “white privilege.”

Jackson demanded to meet within 72 hours with A&E executives and Cracker Barrel’s CEO to discuss the future of Duck Dynasty memorabilia.

Who the heck is Jackson to demand a meeting with A&E Executives and CEO of Cracker Barrel? Is this meeting in keeping with his long-standing practice of corporate extortion and threat to boycott these businesses unless they kowtow to his financial extortion?

If we actually had an Attorney General with integrity, he would issue some type of injunction against Jackson having any influence in this matter, knowing the modus operandi of the Rainbow Coalition, as well as Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.

And for Jackson to invoke the memories of Rosa Parks is a blatant attempt at race-baiting and stoking the fires of racial tension. I wonder if Jackson has asked for a meeting with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel? Has Jackson called for a meeting with the National Educators Association to discuss failing inner city schools and teachers?

Here we go again with this modern day version of black bloodsucking vampires who are draining the life out of the black community for their own “privilege” and relevancy. They said nothing when the “knockout game” was in its early stages. Theses cretins only show up when there is financial gain for themselves. And I don’t care who calls me Uncle Tom, Oreo, sellout or white man’s porch monkey, I will call out wrong when I see it. And if someone possesses the same skin color as I do and falls in line with this criminal behavior, the heck with you.

Let me remind you of the words of Booker T. Washington (who I revere): “There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well.”

Washington promoted education, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance completely in opposition to the race baiting ways of someone like Jesse Jackson. I can certainly believe Booker T. Washington would speak out against Jackson and Sharpton. And yep, they called Booker T. those ugly names they call black conservatives, such as myself today, way back then.

My message to Jesse Jackson: stand down and step aside, we are sick of your bigoted tactics. And I for one will keep “getting my grub on” at Cracker Barrel.

Whose side are you taking, Phil Robertson or Jesse Jackson? And I admonish the executives at A&E and Cracker Barrel to tell Jesse Jackson to join Mikey Weinstein and pound sand.
