In case you hadn’t noticed, the Democrat National Convention’s theme for its opening day today is “United Together.” And so far, the party appears anything but united.
No doubt you already heard about Little Debbie Wasserman Schultz getting booed by her own Florida delegation — an incident perhaps solidifying her subsequent announcement that she will not gavel the convention to order later today, as planned. And House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi endured a similar fate speaking to her own California delegation, getting booed and jeered when she spoke about presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.
Turns out, even Bernie himself couldn’t get his supporters on board to show their support for presumptive nominee Hillary. Look how they responded when he tells them, “We have got to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.”

If the man himself can’t get his supporters on board for Hillary, hard to imagine who will be able to convert Bernie’s supporters.
But, if I may, here’s a tip for Bernie: citing the fact that we live in “the real world” may not be the best approach to reach your supporters — who aren’t known for their connection to “the real world.” In fact, you might say that disconnection from the real world is what enables their supporter of you, Bernie. Just sayin’.To the rest of you, hope y’all are stocked up on popcorn, as it looks like we’re in for quite a show this week.
