If Hillary Clinton and her surrogates — all the way up to President Obama himself — were thinking and hoping the announcement from FBI Director Comey this morning would put an end to the controversy surrounding Hillary’s email scandal, they couldn’t have been more wrong.
Predictably, Republicans — most vocally, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump himself — have expressed outrage that, in Trump’s own words, the system is rigged.
But many Democrats are having an equally vehement response — including some declaring the Democrat party dead to them. And, yes, that even if she has been set free from the specter of indictment, they still won’t vote for Hillary Clinton for president.
Not good news for the Queen.
Via CNN:The Tuesday announcement also set off a torrent of anger and frustration among some of Bernie Sanders’ most diehard supporters, a vocal minority who have been agitating for an indictment of the former secretary of state in the hopes it would vault the Vermont senator to the Democratic nomination. Trump and the Sanders bitter-enders had played up the possibility, pointing to what they called an “FBI convention” that would effectively block Clinton from becoming the nominee. But with FBI Director James Comey’s announcement likely closing that door, social media — including a couple high-profile Sanders backers — erupted:
Now, there’s a shocker: Shaun King of Black Lives Matter notoriety, said something you actually agree with!
Yep, that’s the party of the people — looking out for the little people, the average Joes and Janes of America. Yeah, right.
And the icing on the cake:
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama may have won the battle with their corrupt cronyism, but will it cost them the war? It seems that today’s announcement releasing Hillary from any charges may have been the biggest wake-up call the American people have seen for some time.
