Recently-disclosed emails revealed that longtime Hillary Clinton aide and confidant, Huma Abedin, noted that former secretary of state Clinton is “often confused.”
And what the Democrat presidential candidate just said on the campaign trail may be an example of exactly what Abedin warned us about.
Clinton: “It is time we get back to where we were before the Republicans came in and messed it up again.”

Um, could someone please remind Hillary that there has been a Democratic president in the White House since January 20, 2009?

To be fair, you can’t blame anyone — easily confused or otherwise — for wanting to forget the past seven years of President Barack Obama.
But somehow, I think there’s a different explanation here for what Hillary just said. Perhaps Mrs. Clinton is simply dutifully following in her predecessor’s footsteps and STILL blaming Bush for everything.
Or, perhaps, in true form, Hillary Clinton is just reminding us that in the world according to Bill and Hillary, THEY are the center of the universe — and no one else matters. Which would explain why Hillary hearkens back to her husband’s presidency to recall the time “before the Republicans came in and messed it up again.”
Perhaps its a combination of all of the above — with the foundational explanation, of course, being that Hillary Clinton will say ANYTHING to get elected.
And, sadly, there are people who will keep believing her.
Sigh. [Note: This article was written by Michelle Jesse, Associate Editor]
