Confirmation hearings have begun for Judge Neil Gorsuch, which means it’s time for another witch hunt by Senate Democrats. Despite the fact the Gorsuch was confirmed to the 10th circuit without opposition 10 years ago, Democrats have vowed to fight hard against his confirmation to the Supreme Court.

Gorsuch has a spotless record as a Judge, even earning the endorsement of the left-leaning American Bar Association. The reality has left Senate Democrats with few options available to resist the nominee, which has led to ridiculous attacks against him.

In the latest example, Senator Dianne Feinstein tried to attack Gorsuch for not protecting the “little guy.” The result was an epic response from Gorsuch.

From Townhall:

Democrat Senator and Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein attempted to corner Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch as a corporate sympathizer Tuesday during his confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill. It did not go well for her as Gorsuch politely shot back with a list of cases in which he fought for the “little guy” throughout his career.

Democrats have been trying desperately to paint Gorsuch as corrupted by big business. According to them, Gorsuch can’t be counted on to protect everyday Americans because of his sympathies for corporations. It’s a desperate play by a desperate party.

Needless to say, the line of attack is a ridiculous one. Gorsuch’s job as a judge is not to side with the little guy, or the big guy, but the law. The law doesn’t provide any ambiguity for personal preferences, and Judge Gorsuch understands that.

Of course, the prospect of a judge who actually follows the letter of the law is a terrifying one for liberals. For years, Democrats have depended on activist judges using their seat to legislate from the bench. Oftentimes, it’s the only way liberal ideas survive.

Gorsuch handled the ridiculous question with ease, rattling off multiple cases in which he sided with the “little guy.” Senator Feinstein was left almost speechless by the answer, proving once again that Gorsuch is the right man for the job.
