When President Trump made the bombshell claim he’d been spied on by the Obama administration, many in the media immediately began to speculate that he was lying. After all, their golden boy of the last 8 years couldn’t possibly be responsible for what would be an impeachable offense.
Just minutes after the claim went public, the liberal media started demanding evidence. It was pretty rich coming from the same people that needed no evidence whatsoever to accuse Trump of colluding with Russia. It didn’t take them much longer to write off the allegations as a complete fabrication.
Of course, it was later revealed that there was evidence to suggest Trump was correct. But instead of reporting the facts, the media immediately attacked the source of the information. What they didn’t expect though, was that a former Obama aide may just have admitted the claims are true.
From Weasel Zippers:She appears to be admitting:
> Obama administration people were spying on Trump people.
> The Obama people were consciously trying to hide that fact so “Trump people wouldn’t know about our sources and methods.” This shows again that they were consciously targeting the Trump people.
> She was urging the Obama people to get information to people on “The Hill” which raises the question, who were these Democrats? Is this more leaking of classified info? That also means people on the Hill may have been aware of the spying.
> She was urging the Obama admin to preserve the information (which is improper, as U.S. Citizens aren’t supposed to being surveilled without a warrant).
In reality, the Obama team has never outright denied the accusations. Instead, they have opted to spin it in a way that gives them plausible deniability as evidence continues to come out. It’s for this reason it takes a little reading between the lines to get to the bottom of what anyone on Team Obama is saying.Although it has since been revealed that Trump’s transition team was indeed spied on, the previous administration has claimed that it was an “incidental” collection of data related to another investigation. That’s pretty tough to believe when that same information was conveniently leaked to the media.
The media has all but written off the accusations as false, despite the fact that new evidence continues to be revealed. Meanwhile, they’re all too happy to speculate on Trump’s mythical collusion with Russia with even less evidence. But this slip of the tongue reveals there might be more to the story than the media is letting on.
