Liberals SHUT DOWN popular restaurant because they’re “offended” by one menu item…

It might seem like a familiar story. Two girls go to Mexico for a vacation. While there, they fall in love with the local burritos. They love them so much, they ask how they’re made. Eventually, they even watch them being made in action.

On the way home they get an idea! “Let’s start our own burrito stand in Portland with similar burritos!” they say.

Once home, months of hard work go into perfecting the craft. Finally, they’re ready for action and open their new business. Fast forward, people love them! Their idea takes off and business is booming. It’s your typical American success story!

BUT WAIT! The PC police are not pleased. You see, these evil white girls are guilty of the greatest sin… cultural appropriation! The rage intensifies as the keyboard warriors do their work. Constant harassment and hundreds of one star Yelp! reviews follow. Then, the worst happens. The girls are forced to shut down the business.

From Heatstreet:

Kali Wilgus and Liz “LC” Connelly, owners of Portland pop-up shop Kooks Burritos, just wanted to make and sell some really great burritos. So when they were on a trip to Puerto Nuevo, Mexico, they “picked the brains” of the local tortilla ladies and brought those recipes back to the States.

“I picked the brains of every tortilla lady there in the worst broken Spanish ever, and they showed me a little of what they did,” Connelly told Willamette Weekly. “They told us the basic ingredients, and we saw them moving and stretching the dough similar to how pizza makers do before rolling it out with rolling pins. They wouldn’t tell us too much about technique, but we were peeking into the windows of every kitchen, totally fascinated by how easy they made it look. We learned quickly it isn’t quite that easy.”

Whelp, apparently this interview sparked an Internet sh*tstorm, which ended in Kooks Burritos shutting down and the two white women who owned it scrubbing social media of the business’ existence.

Wilgus and Connelly were accused of cultural appropriation by the Internet mob, and even the theft of PoC’s recipes.

Liberal bloggers picked up the story, accusing the girls of “stealing” from the livelihoods of Mexican burrito trucks:

“Now that you all boldly and pretty fucking unapologetically stole the basis of these women’s livelihoods, you can make their exact same product so other white ppl don’t have to be inconvenienced dealing with a pesky brown middle woman getting in their way,” wrote a woman in the interview’s comment section.

You can’t make this stuff up. There is nothing that the liberal mob won’t attack you for, even making a burrito.

Of course, food has spread like this for generations. Being inspired by foreign cuisine has always been the basis for the growth of the restaurant industry. In our “enlightened” times though, such things are unacceptable.

It seems as if this is the new reality. Liberals, sipping on their Italian-inspired Starbucks latte, mashing the keyboard of their Chinese-made iPhone in a fit of rage. The rest of us are bigots. They are the guardians of the oppressed. I just call them bullies.
