Brutal meme compares Paris vs. San Bernardino attacks, NAILS liberal hypocrisy

Beyond the horrific human casualties — 14 killed and 21 wounded — from Wednesday’s San Bernardino terror attacks, we’ve witnessed a jarring response from everyone from our president and his administration to the nation’s media to our own liberal friends on Facebook. Though the attack three days ago in the U.S. has many of the same markings as those in Paris just over three weeks ago, the response feels very different.

If you’ve noticed that as well, the following meme contrasting the Paris attacks with the San Bernardino attack will resonate:

France vs. US MEME

After the Paris attacks three weeks ago, the world rallied around the #PrayforParis hashtag, showed solidarity with France by adding the French flag to their Facebook profile pictures and defiantly declared ISIS an enemy (well, just about everyone except President Obama, of course). French President Francois Hollande exhibited genuine grief over the lives lost and promised a “pitiless” war against ISIS. He acted quickly to take measures to protect the country from further attacks and continues to do so. Hollande is acting a leader, as the country so desperately needs during such a critical time.

So you have to wonder why things look so different after the San Bernardino terror attack in the U.S. — which at least now is being investigated as a terror attack, all signs increasingly pointing to ISIS inspired, if not directed. No prayers hashtag here; rather, quite the opposite, as we see what many are calling “prayer shaming” in the wake of San Bernardino. One striking example of this was the New York Daily News‘ cover story, “GOD ISN’T FIXING THIS.” While the publication’s coverage of the #PrayForParis campaign was positive, its December 3 story was critical of politicians praying for the California victims, the Daily News arguing that “cowards who could truly end gun scourge continue to hide behind meaningless platitudes.”

Meanwhile, how many USA flag profile pics have you seen on Facebook? So far, I’ve only seen one, that of Michelle Malkin, who asks:

Question: Why is it that Facebook had a special French flag filter for the Paris jihad victims but not the San Bernardino jihad victims?! I just changed by FB profile pic to show solidarity with the American victims of jihad in San Bernardino and across the country.

It’s a small gesture, but we must not be silent. “If you see something, say something”–CAIR & P.C. White House officials be damned!

(For those asking how I added the USA flag filter, I used this one: http://rainbowfilter.io/american-flag)

And, of course, unless you’ve been in a total media blackout for the past three days, you’ve heard the blame for Wednesday’s attacks focus squarely on guns — not terrorism — even after the FBI declared the attack was being investigated as an act of terrorism. Not to mention the gazillion other signs pointing to Islamic terror as a motivation — such as one of the shooter’s pledge of allegiance to ISIS, ISIS’ claim that the shooters were followers, evidence of their being in contact with terrorist subjects, and more.

But rather than expressing genuine grief over the victims in this case, rather than acknowledging the enemy and taking measures to protect against further attacks against the Americans he’s sworn to protect, President Obama has — starting with the moments immediately following the attack — continued to push his own agenda of gun control and immigration. One of which falsely addresses the problem, while the other has the propensity to only exacerbate it. He is going above and beyond anything we’ve ever seen to deny the role that Islamic extremism is playing within our own borders now.

Rather than adopting a somber tone at a very pivotal time in our nation’s history — the second most deadly attack on our soil since September 11, 2001 — the president blithely parties on.

Can’t help but think of the expression, “the fish rots from the head.”
