JUST IN: Obama responds to Orlando attack, confirms our WORST FEARS…

President Obama came out to address today’s horrific massacre that left 50 dead, dozens injured — and millions of Americans stunned and heartbroken.

And rather than doing anything to calm our fears, the president only confirmed some of our worst ones. Not only is the president still refusing to acknowledge the cancer that is Islamic extremism growing within our own borders; he is once again using what appears to be another Islamic-fueled tragedy to further his anti-gun agenda.

While he went so far as to call this morning’s attack “an act of terror,” Obama didn’t once mention the word “Islamic” — despite mounting evidence to suggest this horrific act of hate was indeed driven by that special brand of hate some of us recognize as Islamic extremism.

And, in typical fashion, the president did jump to blame guns and use today’s tragedy as an opportunity to call for more gun control.

Via Breitbart:

President Barack Obama reacted to the news of the mass shooting at an Orlando gay nightclub on Sunday, referring to the attacks as “an act of terror and an act of hate.”

Speaking to reporters in the White House briefing room Sunday afternoon, Obama reminded them that law enforcement officials still didn’t know all the facts of the case and would follow the facts of the investigation to identify the motive.

“What is clear is that he was a person filled with hatred,” Obama said. “Over the coming days, we’ll uncover how and why this happens and we’ll go wherever the facts lead us.”

But Obama ignored the connection to radical Islamic terrorism, even after news outlets reported that the shooter made a call to a Florida 911 center to pledge allegiance to ISIS.

Instead, Obama echoed the calls for more gun control from anti-gun activists, reminding Americans how easy it is for criminals to get guns.

“We have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well,” he said, calling the attack “the most deadly shooting in American history.”

The president reached out the LGBT community, pointing out that they were the object of hate.

“The shooter targeted a nightclub where people came together to be with friends, to dance, sing and live,” Obama said.

He described the nightclub as a place of “solidarity and empowerment” for the LGBT community to “speak their minds and advocate for their civil rights.”

See the president’s words for yourself, if you can stand it:

The president is right about one thing. We do indeed have to decide what kind of nation we want to be. Do we want to follow in Europe’s footsteps — which has chosen to let political correctness supersede all sanity, sovereignty and the security of its citizens — and allow the radical Islam, whose mission is to destroy us, to fully infiltrate our borders and metastasize in our culture?

As the president also says, “to actively do nothing is a decision as well.” And indeed president’s decision “to actively do nothing” about Islamic extremism — to actively refuse to even acknowledge it — is a decision. We are now reeling from the second Islamic terror attack on our homeland in six months. And yet the president refuses to consider changes to policies, such as expediting the influx of Muslim refugees from terror hotbeds. Instead, he continues to push his own ideological agenda, based on a false premise that guns are to blame, rather than an ideology of hate.

It’s a tragic — treasonous — double-whammy of disarming Americans even as he offers us up like sheep.
