In the wake of the deadly terror attacks in Brussels, the U.S. State Department has issued a rare warning to U.S. citizens about travel to Europe. All of Europe.

The alert warns of terrorist plans for “near-term attacks throughout Europe.”

The State Department issued a rare travel alert for Europe Tuesday, warning Americans of “potential risks” in the wake of the deadly terror attacks in Brussels.

The alert, which expires on June 20, warned that “terrorist groups continue to plan near-term attacks throughout Europe, targeting sporting events, tourist sites, restaurants, and transportation.”

While this likely doesn’t come as a surprise after the multiple deadly terror attacks in Brussels — and the warning from ISIS that What will be coming is worse” it is nonetheless a sobering reminder of the times in which we now live.

The State Department issued a similar, albeit more global, warning following the Paris attacks — which, incidentally, had been set to expire on February 24, 2016, less than a month ago. Hmmm…
