The hysteria over “speaking to Russia” has truly reached fever pitch.
Does ANYONE actually believe a representative — anyone — from Donald Trump’s campaign spoke to a Russian ambassador or envoy some time last summer and said “Hey, can you help us out on beating Hillary? How ‘bout some of your hackers burrow into some Democrat email accounts, find a bunch of damaging stuff, and then send it over to Wikileaks so they can publish it?”
It’s gotten so ridiculous that even a random conversation with an ambassador — something over thirty Democrat Senators have done, because it’s PART OF THEIR JOB — becomes tantamount to treason.
And then there’s the dreaded word INVESTIGATION. When there’s an “investigation” the implication is that there’s evidence of something un-Kosher that needs to be “investigated. “ Hmmm…
Never mind that in the case of allegations Russia somehow influenced the American election, there is ZERO EVIDENCE. Heck, even B. Hussein Obama said so!
The latest hysterical hyperventilating is that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and Michael Flynn had *gasp* “a previously undisclosed meeting with the Russian ambassador to “establish a line of communication” — IN DECEMBER.But! If you REALLY want to talk about conspiracy and evil-doing, try this on for size. And prepare to be OUTRAGED.
Our dear friend Sen. Chuckie Schumer had DOUGHNUTS with Vladimir Putin in New York City in 2003 — no doubt plotting how Russia could help ensure Barack Obama’s victory in 2008.NTK via Gateway Pundit reports, Schumer welcomed Putin to New York City as Russian oil company Lukoil opened a gas station in Manhattan.
The AP photo shows Putin and Schumer smiling, with coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The caption reads:
Russian President Vladimir Putin, right, enjoys a Krispy Kreme doughnut and coffee with Senator Charles Schumer from New York as Putin visits the first New York gas station of the Russian company Lukoil, Friday.
Schumer also said that day:
“When I showed the president of Russia a Krispy Kreme doughnut and he ate it and said it was good, that was one of the more surreal moments I’ve had in politics.”
Senator Schumer, the surreal moment we’re all having in politics is the concerted, underhanded effort by the left, including the vast number of Obama holdovers still employed in the government, the media and sadly, even some Republicans to completely sabotage the Trump administration from within.
It is despicable and the American people are getting really sick and tired of it.
You can take your Krispy Kremes and shove ‘em.
