Charges have finally been brought against a Muslim family in connection with a tragic double “honor killing” in Houston, Texas.

Yes folks, it’s happening right here in the heartland of America.

In 2012, 30-year-old Gelareh Bagherzadeh, was shot to death after she supposedly helped convert Ali Irsan’s daughter from Islam to Christianity. Irsan was charged with capital murder. His wife, Shmou Ali Alrawabdeh, and their 21-year-old son, Nasim, are charged with murder.

CBS News reports “Irsan is also reportedly accused of killing 28-year-old Coty Beavers, his daughter’s husband, 10 months after Bagherzadeh was shot to death. Coty Beavers was the twin brother of Bagherzadeh’s boyfriend.”

“These two murders are linked by the belief on the defendant’s part that his honor as a father and a Muslim has been violated by his daughter, who defied his rule and married a Christian man,” said Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson.

But as our own president, Barack Hussein Obama once said, “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” – and apparently in the case of these two murder victims, he was right.
