There has always seemed to be a love/hate relationship between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders – more of the latter of late, especially after leaked DNC emails show the Party was in the tank for Hillary from the get-go.
And it didn’t help when Hillary was secretly recorded trashing Bernie supporters saying they were ‘baristas” “living in their parents’ basement.”
In the leaked audio, recorded during a Hillary fundraiser in February, she apparently said,
There’s just a deep desire to believe that we can have free college, free healthcare, that what we’ve done hasn’t gone far enough, and that we just need to, you know, go as far as, you know, Scandinavia, whatever that means, and half the people don’t know what that means, but it’s something that they deeply feel.
Some are new to politics completely. They’re children of the Great Recession. And they are living in their parents’ basement. They feel they got their education and the jobs that are available to them are not at all what they envisioned for themselves. And they don’t see much of a future.

They feel they got their education and the jobs that are available to them are not at all what they envisioned for themselves. And they don’t see much of a future. And so if you’re feeling like you’re consigned to, you know, being a barista, or you know, some other job that doesn’t pay a lot, and doesn’t have some other ladder of opportunity attached to it, then the idea that maybe, just maybe, you could be part of a political revolution is pretty appealing.
In any event, Bernie was not amused. According to The Hill, yesterday on CNN’s “State of the Union” he said “of course” it bothered him that Clinton said he sold a “false promise” to his supporters.
Donald Trump had his own idea of what Bernie should do.
Bernie should pull his endorsement of Crooked Hillary after she decieved him and then attacked him and his supporters.

Coincidence? The Hill reports the Clinton campaign has cancelled their planned joint events on Monday, and it’s unclear whether they’ll ever join each other on the campaign trail. Having said that, on Wednesday, Sanders will be in Des Moines, Iowa, in the morning, and will host rallies in Madison and Green Bay, Wis., in the afternoon.
So he’s still banging the drum for liberalism…just not for Hillary’s particular brand – for now. Keep stoking those fires of division within your party folks! It’s ok by us.
