We can all rest easy, tonight folks.
President Obama, who just might be the sharpest mind of our time, has finally nailed down why this particular election cycle has been such a close one between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Catching the sarcasm?
No, it isn’t because people are sick of illegal immigration, terrorist attacks, big government intrusion into the private sector, or a poor, stagnate economy.
It’s all Rush Limbaugh’s fault.
Yes, this man is delusional.According to TheBlaze, Obama made the comment during a Democratic fundraiser attended by about 65 donors in New York City on Sunday, CNN reported.
“This should not be a close election, but it will be. And the reason it will be is not because of Hillary’s flaws, but rather because, structurally, we’ve become a very polarized society,” Obama said.“If all you’re doing is watching Fox News and listening to Rush Limbaugh and reading some of the blogs that are churning out a lot of misinformation on a regular basis, then it’s very hard for you to think that you’re going to vote for somebody who you’ve been told is taking the country in the wrong direction,” the president continued, adding that it’s “going to be hard to overcome” such structural divisions.
This isn’t the first time Obama has decided to blame conservative media for his and other liberals unpopularity.
“The problem is that when we get our politics, a lot of it has to do with the fact that our media is now splintered, some people are just watching Fox News, some people are just reading the New York Times, so they don’t even start with a common baseline of facts,” Obama said in January.
This is the epitome of denial, a living picture of reality avoidance.
No, the reason this presidential race is so close is because our nation has had eight straight years of failed progressive policies, and quite frankly, we’re all sick of it.
We’ve experienced hardships due to constantly increasing taxes, the disaster that is Obamacare, rights violations on just about every Amendment of the Bill of Rights, and the list goes on.
Every day we hear new stories about the corruption pouring out of this administration, whether it be using the IRS to silence dissenting opinions or terror attack cover ups designed to win elections.
American citizens have had enough, and many of those who are typically silent have been granted the courage to stand up and let their voices be heard this time around.
At the end of the day, the reason this election is neck and neck is because he — Obama — has failed miserably in the execution of his duties.
It’s time to stop passing the buck and accept a little personal responsibility. Oh but wait. To a liberal, “personal responsibility” is like garlic to a vampire.
