Watch: Singer takes national anthem protest to NEW low

Protesting the national anthem by kneeling down has become the new “hip” way of making yourself look socially aware — thanks a lot, Colin Kaepernick — and we all know if celebrities want to be relevant and make money, they have to look “cool.”

We’ve seen spoiled rotten millionaire athletes complain about the vicious inequality in this country — hopefully sarcasm is duly noted here — and we’ve witnessed little kids in peewee football leagues follow the suit of these dolts.

Apparently this has all just been the tip of the iceberg.

Now musicians — another class of spoiled individuals — are getting in on the action.

BizPacReview is reporting, Singer Leah Tysse copied the practice started by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick at the Sacramento Kings’ friendly preseason game against Israeli League team Maccabi Haifa.

The protest alleges racial bias in the United States.

Afterwards, Tysse said on her Facebook page that dropping to one knee “felt like the most patriotic thing” she could do at the time.

“I love and honor my country as deeply as anyone yet it is my responsibility as an American to speak up against injustice as it affects my fellow Americans,” she wrote.

She then said what led her to take a knee.

“I cannot idly stand by as black people are unlawfully profiled, harassed and killed by our law enforcement over and over and without a drop of accountability,” she wrote.

Nothing smacks more of desperation quite like using social activism to try making a name for yourself in the entertainment industry.

If these people were really concerned about inequality, why aren’t they investing the money they make from their careers and sinking it into their own cause?

In reality, singers like Tysse are nothing more than pawns being used to push an agenda by their progressive overlords, a price they seem willing to pay in order to get a fat paycheck.
