UN weighs in on Dallas shooting with DESPICABLE statement

Tragedy struck Dallas last night after at least one angry sniper took to the streets during an anti-police brutality protest and shot 12 police officers, killing five of them, in a truly horrific incident that won’t soon be forgotten.

To make matters worse, one suspect responsible for the murder spree stated he was angry over recent law enforcement shootings involving black victims and “wanted to kill white people.”

With this obvious indicator that things are not well in our country right now, you’d think an organizations whose mission is centers on peace and security would want to be sensitive to both law enforcement and the black community, working to help foster a sense of unity to begin healing the separation folks are feeling.

Unfortunately, that’s not at all what’s happened. In fact, the U.N. released a statement more or less slamming U.S. police as “racists.”

via the United Nations Human Rights:

“The Working Group is outraged and strongly condemns the new police killings of two African-American men. These killings which were captured on video cannot be ignored. We call for prompt independent investigations to ensure the perpetrators are prosecuted and punished.

We also condemn the attacks on police officers in Dallas and call for the perpetrators to be held accountable.

Excessive use of force by the police against African Americans in the United States is a regular occurrence. African Americans are reportedly shot at more than twice the rate of white people.

The Working Group is monitoring the situation and has repeatedly expressed its concern to the United States Government about police killings of African Americans and called for justice. The Working Group is convinced that the root of the problem lies in the lack of accountability for perpetrators of such killings despite the evidence.

The killings also demonstrate a high level of structural and institutional racism. The United States is far from recognizing the same rights for all its citizens. Existing measures to address racist crimes motivated by prejudice are insufficient and have failed to stop the killings.

It is time, now, for the US Government to strongly assert that Black lives matter and prevent any further killings as a matter of national priority.”

Perhaps the U.N. needs a friendly reminder that we’re a sovereign nation responsible for governing ourselves without the outside help of an organization that clearly has an axe to grind and an agenda to push.

Part of the problem with these situations is that mainstream media outlets rush to report the story without having all of the facts and immediately begin crafting a narrative that supports the progressive worldview, oblivious to the kind of negative impact it can have on viewers and readers, particularly when it comes to the power of inspiring angry folks to take violent action.

Before jumping to any conclusions, we need to have all of the facts in order to make an educated deduction. Could there be situations where cops were motivated by race? Yeah, of course it’s possible. I’m sure there are a few bad apples in law enforcement  — as with any large group of people — however, to immediately assume that every incident that occurs is racially motivated is not only ridiculous, it is downright dangerous.

Careless reporting and a lack of accurate information play a far bigger role in fueling these horrific situations than cops do, yet that fact doesn’t seem to matter too much to the liberal U.N.
