Despite the fact that Donald Trump is the official Republican nominee, there’s still quite a few folks in the GOP who are not jumping on the Trump train, and it seems one of those individuals is former presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
There’s a rumor circulating right now from Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson that Romney is going to be throwing his endorsement behind him for the 2016 presidential election.

This is definitely surprising, as it seems many of Johnson’s policies have more in common with liberal positions — as far as social issues are concerned — than they do with conservatism, which you would think would create an ideological conflict between the libertarian and former governor that would be difficult to bridge. However, it appears Romney’s “distaste” for Trump runs deep in his veins, and is no doubt angering many who feel Romney should rally behind the real estate mogul to help prevent Hillary Clinton from winning the White House in November.
It’ll be interesting to see Romney’s response as to whether the rumor is true or not.
