Former President Obama has been dragged back into the headlines time and again — usually due to desperate attempts he’s made to stay relevant and make as much cash off of his presidency as possible — appearing in our living rooms regularly like an unwanted house guest who can’t take a hint.
A recent interview in “People” magazine with some of Obama’s friends is making its way across the Internet after it claims to reveal what he “really” thinks of President Donald Trump.
Let’s just say it isn’t positive. Not that we’re surprised, but it’s really rich, coming from him.
According to BizPacReview, Friends of Barack Obama revealed what the former president really thought of his successor following his Election Day win.
“He’s nothing but a bullsh***er,” Obama told two friends in November, according to People.

The former president was reportedly recalling the election night phone call with the Trump who told Obama about his “respect” and “admiration” for the outgoing president, something the 44th president apparently found hard to believe given Trump’s previous criticisms. In the months since Trump moved into the White House, Obama’s opinion has not changed much, the friends told People.
Well,” one said, “it hasn’t gotten any better.”
“He’s deeply concerned with what he’s seen. But he’s also optimistic and heartened that citizens aren’t just watching it happen but engaging with neighbors and elected representatives at town halls,” a third source close to Obama reportedly told the publication.
“He’s very respectful of the appropriate role of a former president and that ex-presidents should not be looking over the shoulder of their successors and commenting on every decision,” David Axelrod, former Obama adviser said, pointing out how George W. Bush refrained from criticizing Obama.
“Obviously, this now is a unique set of circumstances, but my sense is that he’s going to try and respect that tradition while reserving the right to speak out in given moments when things rise to that level,” he added.
Is it really so shocking to hear of Obama’s distaste for Trump? Not at all. But it appears that old saying of “it takes one to know one” really is true.
