Black journalist suggests “disengaging with white people altogether”

The Washington Post is your typical left-wing media outlet that constantly sounds the trumpet on every liberal cause and trend going on in our country, but the latest piece they published from a so-called “poet” is one of the most disgusting, racist op-eds you’ll probably ever see.

Well, this week anyway.

Zack Linly, a black poet, penned his little hate-filled bit of hypocrisy with the title “It’s time to stop talking about racism with white people.”

The title truly sets the tone for the vileness to come.

Here’s a few bits and pieces from the article, via Truth Revolt:

Could it be, and I’m just spit-balling here, but could it be that white folks are … completely full of it?

This is why I submit that black people should simply disengage with white America in discussions about race altogether. Let them have their little Klan-esque chats in the Yahoo and USA Today comment sections. We need to stop arguing with them because, in the end, they aren’t invested like we are. They aren’t paying attention to these stories out of fear for their lives and the lives of their children and spouses; they are only tuned in out of black and brown contempt…

So we need to let them cry. Let them gripe about how white is the new black and they are now the true victims of racism because their black co-workers don’t invite them to lunch or some black guy on the train called them a cracker or because black people on the interwebs hurt feelings. (How nice it must be to have the option of simply logging off of your oppression.) We need to let them cry. And we need to learn how to just sit our intellectual selves back and enjoy it…

When Beyoncé released the video for “Formation,” featuring a black kid in a hoodie, a “hands up, don’t shoot” banner and a sinking police car — then performed the song while paying homage to the Black Panther Party smack in the face of white America during the Super Bowl halftime show — she provided us with a bottomless open bar of white tears…

Black people, it is long past time for us to start practicing self-care. And if that means completely disengaging with white America altogether, then so be it.

You may need to take a break after this and find something stimulating to read as a means of rinsing the filth of modern day liberal racism out of your mind.

How would liberals respond to this exact same piece if it was written the other way around? It’s almost a guarantee they’d lose their minds, start foaming at the mouth, and begin screaming “racist!”

The hypocrisy of the left on this issue is absolutely astounding. Racism is evil and despicable, regardless of the skin color of the individual spewing the hate, therefore it should be equally despised if one is to be a consistent liberal.

But that’s just it, isn’t it? Liberals are rarely ever consistent in the application of their beliefs. In their eyes, a racist is white. There’s just no possible way someone of another shade could ever in a million years have hatred in their heart based on race.

If leftists really wanted to get rid of racism and see equality triumph, they would work toward bringing all forms of inequality — including the kind espoused in this WaPo piece — to an end by focusing less on color and more on character.

Perhaps one day, a real, legitimate post-racial society will take root in America. However, it doesn’t appear this will happen under the leadership of radical progressives.
