Infamous San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has received a ton of well-deserved backlash after disrespecting his country by refusing to stand for the National Anthem before NFL games, but none of these epic burns has been nearly as devastating as what popular Comedy Central show South Park just put out.
In an upcoming episode, citizens gather at a stadium where they sing a new version of the National Anthem, incorporating Colin Kaepernick’s name.
Here are the lyrics and a video clip via TheBlaze:
Colin Kaepernick is great
Cops are pigs, cops are pigs
Wait, someone just took my stuff, I need to call the cops
Oh, no, I just said cops are pigs
Who’s gonna help me get my stuff?
Why did I listen to Colin Kaepernick, He’s not even any good
Oh, I just got all my stuff back
Cops are pigs again, cops are pigs
Colin Kaepernick’s a good backup
It illustrates the hypocrisy of most of the cop-hating folks out there who will repeatedly degrade police officers, yet as soon as the you-know-what hits the fan, the first thing they do is call the cops, and boy do they ever expect results!

It seems the majority of superstar athletes taking up this “cause” are only doing so because it’s hot and trendy, a way to boost their social media presence, appear important, and maybe, just maybe land some sort of endorsement deal.
Let’s hope this is one trend that goes the way of the dinosaurs sooner, rather than later.
