Oops: Debbie lets slip the TRUTH about Democrats in ONE sentence

If the massive kick to the pants Democrats received in the 2016 election taught us anything, it’s that they’re super out of touch with the average American, and quite frankly, they don’t seem to care.

All that matters to the modern day liberal is shoving the progressive agenda down our throats, remaking America in their image, whether it’s good for us or not.

Nowhere is this seen more clearly than in comments recently made by Reb. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

It seems the former DNC chair isn’t the slightest bit concerned about the heavy burden of rising Obamacare costs, declaring some people “always complain.”

TheBlaze is reporting, Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz declared Thursday that her constituents do not believe that the costs of Obamacare are too high.

During an interview with the former head of the Democratic National Committee on CNN’s “New Day,” host Poppy Harlow noted that premiums in Florida rose by more than 19 percent this year.

“You know these families, they write to you, they call you, they say, ‘We can’t afford this,’ ” Harlow began.

Wasserman Schultz interjected, “No, that’s not actually what they’re saying in my state.”

“You’ve had no constituents say this is too expensive?” Harlow asked.

“Look, people vote with their feet,” Wasserman Schultz replied. “And what that means is that when something is too expensive, they walk away.” She added that Florida has had the most people sign up for plans under the Affordable Care Act.

“You haven’t heard from any constituents who say this is getting too expensive?” Harlow pressed.

Wasserman Schultz replied that “there are people who always complain that health care is too expensive.”

This truly is a perfect example of a leftist who just doesn’t connect with the common man, and it’s clear from her oh-so-astute observation of no one having a problem with health care costs — or lack thereof — that she’s completely out of touch.

It’s time for politicians like Wasserman Schultz — on both sides of the aisle — to take a hike. We need representation that seeks to understand the plight of the average citizen and takes proper steps to do what’s best to preserve liberty and promote economic prosperity.
