The DNC email leak has been wreaking havoc on the Democrat Party all week, and things continue to go from bad to worse for these so-called bastions of inclusivity and equality, particularly after a nasty bunch of messages were released that contain a fair bit of blatant anti-Semitism.
It seems a bunch of staffers weren’t too pleased about commemorating the Holocaust, and shared their opinions with each other via email.
According to Truth Revolt, Former Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz sent out an email to her employees about putting out a statement on Yom Hashoah. Yom Hashoah is known as Holocaust Remembrance day.
DNC senior communications director Ryan Banfill forwarded the email to staffer Kate Houghton, writing, “Flagging for you. The chair is asking for a statement on Yom Hashoah.”
“We aren’t going to do statements for every Jewish holiday unless she wants to do them for every religious holiday and trust me, this Catholic can give you a list of them,” Houghton replied. “Also when she does an official statement it makes very little sense to have two statements out there in her voice.”
Banfill appeared to send a sarcastic response: “This is about remembering the Holocaust. Never forget.”“Yup… or Darfur or Armenia or Rwanda or Bosnia (which PS is where my husband served),” Houghton replied. “Does she want us to do one for each of those remembrance days as well?”
Following the release of the leaked emails, Wasserman Schultz stepped down as chairwoman of the party immediately prior to the Democrat National Convention. No word on whether any staffers have been fired or disciplined. So that’s absolutely deplorable, isn’t it?
Is it any wonder our relationship with Israel is strained? We have a president who treats their prime minister like trash, a culture full of liberal numbskulls who constantly slander Jewish folk, and now this.
Hopefully, the exposure of the left’s hypocrisy will shake up centrists and those with a drop of common sense to abandon ship and come over to the right side, not allowing Hillary Clinton to occupy the White House.
The last thing we need in a divided America is a party that’s anti-Semitic sitting in the Oval Office.
