If you ever want to see how quickly liberals lose their minds on social media, all one needs to do is create a hashtag that in some way celebrates being white, straight, or having more than two children.
The proof of such a claim rests in the latest Twitter controversy that’s causing the left to rage against the machine — a hashtag that says #HeterosexualPrideDay.
So why is such a small thing like a silly social media hashtag causing such a big fuss? It’s LGBT pride month.
TheBlaze reports, What appears to be a tongue-in-cheek social media movement to mark June 29 as a day to celebrate heterosexual pride has become one of the day’s top online trends.
Hundreds of thousands of tweets have been sent Wednesday with the hashtag HeterosexualPrideDay.
If sexuality isn't a choice, then everyone should get a pride day. #HeterosexualPrideDay

Liberals are all for total equality until you start tweeting about #HeterosexualPrideDay

Here are a few reactions from our friends on the left:
#HeterosexualPrideDay is like when kids whine to their parents about not having a "kids day". EVERYDAY is your day. STFU.

That’s just a small sample of the liberal lunacy and fake outrage being spewed forth across the Internet. There’s much more where that came from.
What’s both comical and tragic about the hashtag is that those on the left just don’t seem to get the point that’s being made.
Yes, it’s ridiculous to have a “straight pride day,” which is exactly the point. Why, if progressives care so much about acceptance and tolerance of a whole human being, do they take one aspect of a human being — their sexuality — and make that the sum total of their identity, singling individuals out by whom they’re sexually attracted to, as if that is their defining quality?
One would think such pandering and pigeonholing would make members of the LGBT community upset, but that doesn’t necessarily appear to be the case.
Perhaps one day liberals will finally recognize their own hypocrisy in playing identity politics and grow into a more mature, “mind your own business” kind of thinking? One can dream.
