University SILENCES conservative speaker; it backfires IMMEDIATELY

On Tuesday a gay refugee was shut down and threatened with violence by a religious preacher at a Catholic University.

At least, that’s the headline you would’ve read had the speaker been a leftist. He wasn’t. It was conservative speaker and Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos, who stopped by DePaul University as part of his speaking tour. To progressives, black lives, gay lives, Muslim lives, and trans lives only matter for the purpose of furthering political narratives.

After daring to criticize microaggresions, Milo was quickly macroaggressed as a man later identified as church minister Edward Ward and an accomplice quickly stormed the stage, eloquently proclaiming, “Dump Trump, Dump Trump, Dump Trump, I have all day, I have all day, I have all day.” Of course he does; he doesn’t have a job.

The accomplice wore a shirt reading, “Straight Outta Chicago,” which certainly does wonders to explain the situation they’re in.

Worst of all, security (which the College Republicans were forced to pay for) stood by idly doing nothing.

Needless to say, sane America wasn’t amused. DePaul University’s Facebook page quickly became bombarded by reviews and posts highlighting its hypocrisy in how they handled this ordeal. The only “apology” they offered wasn’t without a handful of social justice buzzwords. One Facebook commenter joked that the apology translated to “We at DePaul blame Mr. Yiannopoulos for the poor conduct of our students and ultimately use his presentation method as justification for having security do nothing as he was assaulted on stage.”

Aaaaaaand it all backfired rather quickly. The school’s reputation is going to be permanently damaged based on the reviews they’ve been receiving…

A handful of reviews are from employers vowing to never hire a DePaul alum, and many others are from alums themselves notifying the school that they’ll no longer be funding the school. And that’s just the people writing in.

Admittedly, I feel a little sorry for whoever the school’s receptionist is.

But the review that takes the cake is Milo’s himself.

At this point, I think more people have learned about Milo due to the protestors who never fail to make national news at his events. Thanks, I guess.
