Tomi Lahren makes SHOCK admission; conservative fans FREAKING

After a particular comment on abortion during her appearance on “The View,” Tomi Lahren stated she gets equal hate from both sides of the political spectrum, and she might as well have been foreshadowing the backlash to her following comments.

After an exchange about Planned Parenthood, host Sonny Hoston switched to the abortion topic, mentioning that 68 percent of conservatives consider themselves pro-life (it’s probably higher), but that Lahren says she’s pro-choice.

“I’m pro-choice, and here’s why,” Lahren said. “I am a constitutional[ist], y’know, someone that loves the Constitution. I’m someone that’s for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that, as a Republican and I can say, you know what, I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well…”

Naturally, plenty of conservatives were outraged. Not only because of the pro-choice comments, but because it appeared in direct contradiction to past comments Lahren had made on abortion just months prior. Among the detractors was Glenn Beck, who employs her at The Blaze TV.

Beck also retweeted the following video, which juxtaposed Lahren going off on a number of pro-choice individuals with her comments on The View.

And of course there are plenty of other comments she made identifying her as a pro-lifer.

So what the heck are we to make of it all? There are a few options:

> She was trying to appease the audience of The View (though that wouldn’t explain why she didn’t cave on every other issue)
> She changed her mind overnight (unlikely)
> She was talking about law, not morality. Just as one can oppose the war on drugs but think that drug use is immoral, she could’ve meant that she was *politically* pro-choice, but personally pro-life (one who thinks that abortion is wrong, but that outlawing it would lead to undesirable unintended consequences).

Still, she did say back in December when criticizing Lena Dunham, This woman, and I use the term loosely, single-handedly kills legitimacy of the modern-day feminist movement every time she speaks. …does she realize how damaging she is to her own narrative? Think about it: the “pro-choicers” are supposed to be about rare and safe abortions. That’s how they avoid sounding like straight-up baby killers…

I reached out to Tomi, and she said the third option is what she meant. Here was our brief exchange:
