Hillary hits 65 percent nationwide in one poll conservatives are CHEERING

While the second debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was hardly memorable, there was one line that stood out after Trump threatened to imprison Hillary if he were to win the Presidency. “You know, it’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.” Hillary said in response. “Because you’d be in jail” Trump responded to a chorus of applause.

It’s not uncommon to see someone sporting a “Hillary for prison” t-shirt at a Trump rally, but how many Americans think she’s a crook? More than you’d believe, given her poll numbers are still above Trump’s. In fact, most would rather she be in a place with free housing, security and healthcare.

As Cassandra Fairbanks reported at Subverse, A new poll has revealed that most Americans disagree with the FBI’s decision not to file criminal charges against Hillary Clinton — that means more people want to see the candidate behind bars than behind a desk in the oval office.

Of 1,000 voters polled by Rasmussen Reports on October 18 and 19; 65% believe that Clinton broke the law with her use of a private server — and 53% believe that the FBI should have filed criminal charges.

Meanwhile, according to Sunday’s daily IBD/TIPP tracking poll, only 43% of voters support Clinton for president.

When looking at Republican versus Democratic voters opinion, the divide was even more stark.

Supporters of Donald Trump overwhelmingly disagreed with the FBI’s decision, with a whopping 92%. On the other hand, 85% of Clinton supporters agreed with the lack of charges.

Currently, Trump has an advantage with Independents, with 44% saying that they are voting for the real estate mogul versus 31% voting for Clinton. Only 77% of Democrats will be voting for Clinton — with 9% voting for Trump and the remaining voters abstaining or voting third party, according to the IBD/TIPP.

According to the daily poll, Trump leads Clinton 43.2% to 42.%, with 10% still undecided.

Other polls, particularly ones weighted to reflect predicted voter turnout based on 2012, show Clinton with a wide lead. Many have pointed out that these polls may not be accurate, as President Obama inspired far more excitement than the former Secretary of State has.

At least the people voting for Trump don’t also think he should be in prison.
