ARRESTED! The NSA leaker’s leftist anti-Trump ties EXPOSED

The Federal laws on handling of classified information continue to harm the rest of its violators just a tad more than they did Hillary Clinton.

God knows who thought it was a good idea to name their daughter Reality Winner, but that’s a name you can expect to hear in the news cycle for weeks to come.

On Monday, Winner was charged by the Department of Justice with removing classified information from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet. Winner is 25 years old, and is a contractor at Pluribus International Corporation where she was employed since February, and held a Top Secret clearance.

According to Heavy.com:

She was charged with gathering, transmitting or losing defense information that could have been damaging to the U.S. She is accused of taking a top secret National Security Agency document, copying it and mailing it to a news organization believed to be The Intercept, NBC News reported, though the organization was not named in the federal court documents.

The Intercept published an intelligence document on June 5 — the same day Winner appeared in court — that’s in line with what’s said in a criminal complaint. The report described details about Russian efforts to hack voting systems in the U.S. about one week before the 2016 presidential election. The document said that it “raises the possibility that Russian hacking may have breached at least some elements of the voting system, with disconcertingly uncertain results.”

The Intercept released a statement on the matter June 6, saying the publication had “no knowledge of the identity of the person who provided the document.”

Winner is presumed innocent until proven guilty, but faces 10 years in a federal prison if convicted of the charge.

The charge, “gathering, transmitting or losing defense information,” is contained under Chapter 37 of federal law: Espionage and Censorship. The law went into effect as of February 1, 2010.

Catching her was surprisingly easy, as it only took a week after Federal authorities were tipped off. The Intercept’s scanned images of the leaked intelligence report contained tracking dots — small, barely visible yellow dots that show “exactly when and where documents, any document, is printed.” Nearly all modern printers have this feature.

Everything we know about Winner such far suggests she’s vehemently anti-Trump, and a dedicated member of the far-left, as her personal posts on social media indicate. As a result, reactions to the news have largely been predictable among partisan lines.

On second thought, can we really tell if this woman is actually named “Reality Winner” or are we all trapped in a poorly-written political drama that just took its most bizarre turn yet?
