Never before could we imagine Nancy Pelosi would be the silver lining in the event of a Hillary Clinton presidency, but apparently that would’ve been the case.
As many of us wonder why the heck she’s staying in politics as the House Minority Leader, especially considering her net-negative favorability as a politician (48.2 percent have a negative opinion of her, compared to only 27.8 percent with a positive opinion – according to the Huffington Post of all places).
Her answer is…Donald Trump.
According to American Lookout: Disgraced Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on Friday that if Hillary Clinton was elected, “I would have been gone by now.”
Speaking to a group of reporters, Pelosi said she “knew” Clinton would win in 2016. When Hillary lost to Trump, it “motivated” her to stay in Congress. “This was, oh my gosh, it was really shocking that somebody like Donald Trump becomes President of the United States, oh my gosh,” Pelosi said.

Well, at least we know retirement is on her mind. If ONLY.
It’s not like she has much power or influence in a House with 227 Republicans and only 193 Democrats. But we can always hope she’ll hang up the Armani suits for good.
