GRETA’S BACK!

There’s been quite the shakeup over at Fox News the past couple of months. We witnessed the departure of Andrea Tantaros, Gretchen Carlson, Greta Van Susteren, and yesterday, Megyn Kelly’s announcement that she’ll be leaving. While Kelly is leaving to join NBC, Tantaros and Carlson haven’t landed new spots as of yet. Van Susteren abruptly left Fox News and her 7 p.m. show “On the Record” in September after fourteen years with the network.

Meanwhile, Greta has maintained a presence online, broadcasting to her Facebook audience. She won’t have just that platform for long however, as she’s gotten a new gig, and it’s not at the network you’d expect.

As the Daily Caller reported: After rumblings that the anchor was heading to the network just months after she left Fox News in September, MSNBC confirmed Thursday that she will host “For the Record With Greta” at 6 p.m. EST.

“Greta is a true pro with a proven record of tough journalism,” Phil Griffin, the president of MSNBC, said in a statement. “Her broad range of experience and sharp news judgment will be of great value to MSNBC as we build on our momentum going into a new year and a new administration.”

She will anchor the show from Washington D.C.

The show begins on January 9th, but many of her prior viewers are expressing dissatisfaction about the network she’ll be broadcasting from.

Will you be tuning in despite the network change? None of us really want to boost MSNBC’s ratings, but on the other hand, the success of her show there could lead them to tone down their leftism just a bit. Maybe.
