Back in 2010, NPR’s “Intelligence Squared” hosted a debate with the resolved statement “Islam is a Religion of Peace.” Those arguing against the motion practically won the debate before it even began, as for the first time, the audience had to pass through metal detectors to enter the debate. Think the same would’ve been necessary had they been debating whether Christianity was a religion of peace?
Conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos had planned on hosting an event at the University of Central Florida to address the dangers radical Islam poses to the gay community today. It was canceled, but similar to the Intelligence Squared debate, the reason why practically proves his point.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
Milo Yiannopoulos was to deliver a speech on Tuesday at the University of Central Florida, Orlando about Islam and its murderous attitudes towards gay people — a fact that was thrown into stark after a brutal terrorist attack at a gay dance club in the city this weekend.
Yiannopoulos, who recently slammed the left for “choosing Islam over gays,” was to speak on campus in the Cape Florida Ballroom at 6:00 PM EDT with a talk entitled “ABSOLUTELY HARAM: Milo On Gays Vs Islam.”
The university told Milo this morning they were cancelling his event tonight because they can’t provide adequate protection.Milo however has other plans:
2/ We are arranging a press conference for TOMORROW here in Orlando. I will be delivering my speech then.

Liberals tell us that if we disrespect Muslims, it’ll just breed more violence. Translation: if you disrespect Muslims, they will kill you.
