Forget ‘deplorables’; Bill just called Trump supporters something WORSE…

Hillary Clinton had her equivalent of Mitt Romney’s infamous “47 percent” gaffe last month when she referred to half of Donald Trump’s supporters as a “basket of deplorables.” She had more specifically described these “deplorables” as racist, sexist, homophobic and xenophobic.

The label quickly became both a badge of honor for many of Trump’s supporters, and a reminder of how low Hillary’s opinion of her fellow Americans truly is. Does she really think tens of millions of Americans are racists, sexists, homophobes and the like? If that was the case, it’s a shocker that the number of hate crimes every year is in the thousands — not the millions.

Hillary at least realized she’d made a mistake — probably only because of the swift backlash that ensued from her comment — and apologized relatively quickly, stating the next day, “Last night I was ‘grossly generalistic,’ and that’s never a good idea. I regret saying ‘half’ — that was wrong.”

Despite this being one of the larger gaffes of her campaign, Bill apparently didn’t get the memo.

Via LifeZette:

The Clinton clan has once again demonstrated its utter contempt for average everyday Americans.

Clinton made the comments during an appearance at Palm Beach State College in Belle Glade, Florida, on Tuesday. “Look, man, the other guy’s base is what I grew up in,” the former president told the crowd of Clinton supporters. “You know, I’m basically your standard redneck.”

The word redneck has obvious negative connotations, especially when bandied about by liberals, and Clinton’s use of the term was a clear dog whistle to Democrats. Trump’s base, Clinton is saying, is a bunch of ignorant, white racists.

As despicable as they may be, Clinton’s comments are by no means surprising. The Clinton camp has campaigned largely on dismissing and demonizing Trump and his supporters as bigots.

Speaking of rednecks, Bill certainly didn’t have trouble pandering to those he would undoubtedly consider such when he ran for president. Confederate flag imagery was fair game for him back then.

How do you think the media would react had Trump used a Confederate flag in campaign materials of any kind? You don’t even have to speculate.
