The Department of Justice will be releasing transcripts of the phone calls that Omar Mateen made while he was carrying out the horrific massacre at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, but they’ll be censored to fit their narrative.
And what is the narrative? That the cause of this massacre could’ve been anything – except Islam. While Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS on numerous occasions; in a call to 911, a local news station, and during the massacre, don’t expect to see that in the transcripts.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch told reporters today the Obama administration will edit transcripts from the phone calls Islamist Omar Mateen made from the Pulse nightclub last week.
Lynch said they will remove references of ISIS and al-Baghadadi. Obama believes the mention of ISIS will re-victimize the people at the club that night.
The Justice Department says the FBI and Orlando authorities, in coordination with the U.S. Attorney’s office, are expected on Monday to release a limited transcript of conversations Mateen had with authorities during the shooting as well as a timeline.“He talked about his pledges of allegiance to a terrorist group. He talked about his motivations for why he was claiming at that time he was committing this horrific act. He talked about American policy in some ways,” Lynch said. In one of the calls he pledged allegiance to ISIS, authorities have said.
“The reason why we’re going to limit these transcripts is to avoid re-victimizing those people that went through this horror. But it will contain the substance of his conversations,” she said.
You know what else “re-victimizes” these people? Doing everything you can to deny what motivated the tragedy.
UPDATE: The transcripts have been released by the FBI, and they haven’t been quite as scrubbed as Lynch would like them to be. They include his pledge of allegiance of ISIS, his self-description as an “Islamic soldier,” and calling on the U.S. to cease bombing of Iraq and Syria.
