Within hours of the bombings in Brussels, ISIS social media accounts began celebrating – and taking credit for the attacks. This is just one of many attacks on the West that ISIS has now inspired or carried out, and they claim to have more planned.
ISIS justified these attacks based on the fact that Belgium is “a country participating in the international coalition against the Islamic State.” Even savages need to justify their killings, apparently.

French and Belgian media have released a surveillance picture of a group of men they say may be involved in the terror attack on Brussels airport in Zaventem, which has so far left 34 dead and more than 90 injured.
Various media reports have described how the two men wearing black (left and centre) of the image are the suicide bombers who may have blown themselves up at the airport, while the third man (in white, right) is said to be “on the run and actively sought after.” Both men in black are captured wearing gloves on their left hands – a detail that has been linked to the fact that the gloves could have been used to dissimulate a bomb trigger of an explosive belt.
The picture emerged hours after the Belgian Foreign Minister, Didier Reynders, told media the investigation into the attacks was “still ongoing” and that the authorities were fearing that there “were still people on the run”.
