News is breaking of a reported explosion in NYC tonight in Chelsea. This comes after earlier news today of a bomb exploding near a Marine Corps race in New Jersey.

Police have the area around 6th Avenue and 23rd sealed off.
PIX 11 reports: Multiple people were injured during an outdoor explosion in Chelsea Saturday night. The explosion happened at 135 23rd St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues.
It was not immediately clear how many people were injured or the severity of their injuries. Preliminary reports indicate at least 14 minor injuries.
The FDNY is on the scene with the NYPD Counterterrorism Unit.
People are urged to avoid the area.
The NYPD has stopped all southbound traffic on Seventh Avenue at 34th Street.
The FDNY says there is no impact on subways and trains in and out of Penn Station at this time.
