Much like the riots in Milwaukee following the officer involved death of Sylville Smith, the riots currently taking place in Charlotte make an equal amount of sense.
In the case of Smith, he didn’t fit the profile of your typical Black Lives Matter martyr. He wasn’t unarmed when he was shot – he was armed with a stolen firearm, and he wasn’t shot by a white police officer, he was shot by a black officer. It didn’t fit the narrative of unarmed black men being shot by racist police, but people still rioted as if it did. There’s video footage of rioters targeting white people for beat downs in retaliation for the shooting. One rioter was caught on camera (before all hell broke loose) stating that “we cannot cohabitate with white people anymore.” He’s fine to think that – but it wouldn’t have saved Sylville Smith’s life.
Another officer involved shooting occurred on Tuesday in Charlotte, and it’s the latest city to be taken over by rioters. During riots last night, rioters looted trucks trying to pass through, along with a Walmart; destroyed police vehicles; threw rocks at cars; and injured 12 police officers. There are competing narratives over the cause of the shooting – police say the man in question (Keith Lamont Scott) was armed and told to drop his weapon when he was shot, while his family maintains that he was reading a book. Police reported finding a firearm at the scene of the crime, but no book.
Regardless, while Scott was black, so was Officer Brentley Vinson – the officer who shot and killed him. This was not the result of “racist” police violence, but that hasn’t sunk in with Scott’s family yet.
As The Right Scoop reports: When reporters asked the brother of the man who was shot for a comment, he said, “all white people are f**king devils!”
Which makes no sense whatsoever. Watch below (language warning):

Now we have to give him some slack here – his brother just died, and even if it was justifiable, anyone else would be emotional and might lash out irrationally. But it shows how people are propagandized to immediately believe every incident is racial in nature – is Obama nurturing this spirit through the “Black Lives Matter” movement helping or dividing us more? I think the answer is obvious.
While Hillary Clinton is sympathizing with these rioters for their response to what she sees as yet another act of unjust police violence, they all seem like a basket of deplorables to me.
