If you didn’t get to see Pamela Geller engaging with a radical Muslim on Fox News’ Hannity the other night, you definitely missed out.
Not only did Sean repeatedly slam Imam Anjem Choudary, but Geller had quite the comebacks for the man as well.
Of all the interesting back and forths between them, one very disturbing message may have gone unnoticed by the mainstream media.
After saying she reached out to the FBI in hopes of remaining safe from anyone who might act on taking her life, Geller says that she hasn’t received word on whether or not protective detail will come to her aid.
Geller was instrumental in putting together the “draw Muhammad” contest in Garland, Texas that “came under attack by gunfire from two known jihadists.” Since that event took place, “her life was threatened by the terrorist group ISIS.”From Truth Revolt:
Geller was the host for the Garland, Texas event that offered a “draw Muhammad” contest which came under attack by gunfire from two known jihadists. Since the attack Sunday, Geller was named as a specific target of ISIS as indicated in a released message: “Our aim was the khanzeer [pig] Pamela Geller and to show her that we don’t care what land she hides in or what sky shields her; we will send all our Lions to achieve her slaughter.”HANNITY: This is a serious threat — basically a fatwa. A death threat has now been issued. Your reaction to that. Have you had any contact with the FBI?
GELLER: They have not contacted me. But of course, we’ve now increased my team. I have a team now, private security. And NYPD counterterror has been in touch with me. And so, yes, we’ll all be working together.
HANNITY: Did you reach out to the FBI?
GELLER: I did.
HANNITY: And they haven’t — Homeland Security hasn’t gotten ahold of you? The FBI hasn’t gotten ahold you?
GELLER: No, and this is interesting, because this is a terrorist threat. And the FBI — President Obama should provide security. There’s just no question about it. Because he created an environment that raised the stakes on this.
Whether you feel the Muhammad cartoon contest was provocative or not, the issue of the First Amendment remains strong.
When our Founding Fathers put together the supreme law of the land, they sought freedom from oppression. As free speech goes, so do the stars and stripes.
Citizens of this great nation cannot afford to allow the radicals to dictate how we live our lives. In America, you have the right to offend and to be offended, but that doesn’t mean you seek “revenge” on those with differing views.
By kowtowing to radical Islam, we are telling the world that Islamic rights are greater than our Judeo-Christian-held beliefs, and that simply doesn’t hold water for red-blooded American patriots.
Once this current administration leaves office, pray that the next Commander-in-Chief will not appease enemies both home and abroad in a failed attempt to calm the world’s hatred for our “transgressions.”
