Hillary just made an admission about her emails…It’s not what you think

The mainstream media isn’t giving Mrs. Clinton much of a pass of late on Servergate, but “the lady’s not for turning.” At least if this past weekend is anything to go by.

Asked Monday by the Associated Press why she won’t directly apologize for her little server problem, Clinton said: “What I did was allowed. It was allowed by the State Department. The State Department has confirmed that.”

When asked directly by NBC last Friday, “Are you sorry?” she would only say,”at the end of the day, I am sorry that this has been confusing to people and has raised a lot of questions, but there are answers to all these questions but declined to apologize for the decision to use it.”

“I did not send or receive any information marked classified,” Clinton said. “I take the responsibilities of handling classified materials very seriously and did so.”

Does anyone actually believe Hillary Clinton will ever admit wrongdoing?

Further Clinton actually said this email scandal will not harm her campaign. This alone tells me she believes she is above any scrutiny whatsoever. But has she seen her polls numbers lately?

The Clintons seem to think whatever they do, they’re entitled to, and answering questions about what they do is beneath them. Clearly, they believe they’re above the law.

“It’s a distraction, certainly,” Clinton said about her little server problem. “But it hasn’t in any way affected the plan for our campaign, the efforts we’re making to organize here in Iowa and elsewhere in the country. And I still feel very confident about the organization and the message that my campaign is putting out.”

The fact is that Hillary Clinton has changed her tune a few times regarding the security classification of some of those emails. Now we’re discovering she did indeed transfer classified information from her secure server as secretary of state to her unsecured server in a bathroom.

“As the person who has been at the center of it, not very much,” Clinton said about how concerned she is. “I have worked really hard this summer, sticking to my game plan about how I wanted to sort of reintroduce myself to the American people.”

As she has often said in recent weeks, Clinton told AP it would have been a “better choice” for her to use separate email accounts for her personal and public business. “I’ve also tried to not only take responsibility, because it was my decision, but to be as transparent as possible,” Clinton said.

Part of that effort, Clinton said, is answering any questions about her email “in as many different settings as I can.” She noted she has sought for nearly a year to testify before Congress about the issue, and that she is now slated to do so in October.”

This testimony before Congress will be interesting. But why is she so darn nonchalant about it? Could it be because Obama and his liberal congress will let her skate through? I’m sure there will be some Republicans asking some tough questions, but that will likely not be enough. Anyone thinking she’ll be put in handcuffs after this is delusional.

The Clintons are a force in politics and are still the poster children of the Democratic Party. Oh you thought it was Obama? Nope. The Clintons still hold the power and will use it. We have a presidential candidate racked with scandal and her own party will not hold her to the fire on it.

Sounds like fear and intimidation to me.

Hillary Clinton’s chief rival at this point is independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. According to AP, “neither Clinton or Sanders is willing to go in to all out war at this time. When Clinton was asked what sets her apart from Sanders she said, “I’m going to keep laying out what I would do as president, what I stand for…I’m very much looking forward to the debates that we’re going to have and we’ll have plenty of time to draw those contrasts.”

It will be interesting to see how those debates turn out. It will also be interesting to see if Hillary, like Bill, will have to come back and ever use the words “I’m sorry” along with, “Indeed I DID have…”

Yeah, riiiight.
