Trump’s travel ban has IMMEDIATE effect on…

‘It started with a trickle and has now increased to a flood stage,’ resident Brenda Piett said. ‘Some people are scared, nervous. Locking their doors. This town most people never locked their doors. But recently they are.’

Ms. Piett is a resident of Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, a small Canadian town in Quebec that’s located along the USA/Canadian border. Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle happens to be along the New York border but similar reports are streaming in daily from other towns across North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and other northern border states.

What’s causing the residents of these small towns to begin locking their doors and looking over their shoulders? Flows of illegal immigrants and refugees leaving the United States for fear of being caught now that we have an administration committed to actually enforcing U.S. law.

Yes it appears Donald Trump is actually scaring people into Canada. But unlike all of the legal residents who said they’d be moving to Canada if Trump became president — like Cher, Whoopi Goldberg, Bryan Cranston, Miley Cyrus and others — those caught fleeing now are mostly illegals.

UK Daily Mail’s headline; “Small Canadian towns are now creaking under the weight of refugees crossing the border illegally from America” tells most of the story.

The article goes on to say:

“…[S]ince President Trump took office, and started cracking down on immigration, fearful refugees and asylum seekers have started illegally crossing into Canada in hopes of trading their American dreams for maple leaves.”

“The reason these wanna-be Canadians are crossing into the country illegally is because Canada is part of an agreement that bars refugees that have already arrived in another ‘safe’ country from trying to trade up to another country.”

However, regarding his trip to the U.S. last week, Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau said that Canada will welcome refugees effected by the travel ban.

People are waking up to a fundamental truth that became buried during the Obama years: no one has the right to enter America, legally or illegally. We, as a sovereign nation, have the right and responsibility to protect our borders and to control our immigration processes. This completely reasonable posture — that virtually every nation on earth maintains — has, for some reason, become controversial to those on the left who believe it’s somehow bigoted to want to maintain homeland safety.

After witnessing the effects of unchecked refugee migration in Europe, and having visited with grieving families of those victimized by illegals who are violent criminals, Trump has vowed to implement more stringent background checks and vetting processes for the USA.  Perhaps some of our refugees know they won’t pass such aggressive vetting; perhaps others are frightened because of dishonest media reporting of what their futures will be. Whatever the reasons, Canada is becoming the fall guy.
