America’s other Halfrican-American – shamed, blamed and thoroughly defamed (Not) Black Lives Matter organizer Shaun King has managed to turn up in headlines again this week, as usual, for his over-the-top accusations of racism. But this time the object of King’s racist ire is causing even the most ardent #BLM supporters to wonder if the man’s faculties are fully intact.
King, who in the past few years joined Rachel Dolezal, Elizabeth Warren and others in the exclusive “I’m a white liberal pretending to be a minority” club, has gone public with a call for boycotting the National Football League because the NFL is anti-black.
What has King’s dander up? The fact that his modern day civil rights hero Colin Kapernick doesn’t have a job. King sent out several tweets each more ridiculous than the last:
If you call the decisions by 32 teams to not sign this man a football decision, you probably voted for Donald Trumphttps://t.co/QTOREmT68A

Yes, Shaun King is calling out the NFL for its overt bigotry and anti-blackness.The obvious need not be stated at this point but here it is anyway.
The current league minimum salary for NLF players ranges from $460,000 for rookies up to $1,000,000 for veterans with ten or more years in the league. Talk about people struggling just to get by on minimum wage, the minimum wage after just four years in the NFL is $775,000. NFL rosters are comprised 70 percent of African-American men despite the fact that we represent only six percent of the United States’ population. And that’s all black American men. Parse that number down again to those black men in typical NFL playing age range — about 22 to 32 years of age — and we drop to a number even smaller than six percent. Then of course, in true hater fashion, King manages to invoke Donald Trump in his tirades despite the fact that Trump has absolutely nothing to do with the situation.
It’s safe to say that the National Football League has concentrated more wealth into the hands of black Americans, enabled more black men to forever change the financial futures of their families, taken more moms out of destitute situations and landed them in mansions and behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz than any other institution in the history of mankind. Yet not only is this mega-mind King calling that institution racist, he’s claiming those who run it (the franchise owners) are stupid; that they’re cutting open their own golden goose to get at the eggs.
King’s buddy Kaepernick made a decision, and decisions have consequences. He decided to disrespect the flag of the United States of America and the national anthem sung before our sporting events and in so doing, insulted the men and women who protect them both. That made him hugely unpopular with the people who make it possible for young black men to be paid a minimum wage of one million dollars – the ticket-purchasing, jersey-buying, television-broadcast-watching public. NFL franchise owners are businessmen, they aren’t stupid. Placing the most unpopular player in the nation into your team’s uniform is a business risk not a racist act.
Fox Insider then went on to publish King’s most serious threat yet:
“As a leader in the Black Lives Matter Movement, as a voice in the resistance to Donald Trump, and as a friend of Colin Kaepernick, I cannot, in good conscience, support the NFL any longer. If I did, I’d struggle to look my own son in the eyes or look at myself in the mirror,” King concluded.”
Uh-oh, NFL. Shaun King is going to stop watching. Team owners must now be shaking in their boots.
