Nobel scientist’s comments about global warming will BURN liberals UP!

One Nobel Laureate’s comments on global warming will definitely leave environmentalists hot under the collar.

Dr. Ivar Giaver was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics in 1973, when he questioned the theory behind fears about rising carbon dioxide levels and said the theory is not backed by evidence. Oops! That was before Al Gore was a movie star of course. Who needs evidence?

Well, apparently scientists actually do. And Dr. Giaver went completely off the reservation with his recent comments at a conference in Germany.

As Newsmax reports, “I would say that basically global warming is a non-problem,” Dr. Ivar Giaever announced during a speech at the 65th Nobel Laureate Conference in Lindau, Germany, last week, according to Climate Depot.

Quoting Obama’s warning that “no challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change,” Giaever said it was a “ridiculous statement.”

“I say this to Obama: Excuse me, Mr. President, but you’re wrong. Dead wrong,” he said, according to Climate Depot.

Giaever also took an indirect swipe at the Pope saying “Global warming really has become a new religion. Because you cannot discuss it. It’s not proper. It is like the Catholic Church.”

Well, except even the Catholic Church has embraced this new religion.

Pope Francis recently jumped on the global warming bandwagon-citing climate change as a worse threat to humanity than presumably ISIS, Satan worship or pedophile priests.

According to the New York Times, “Francis, the first pope from the developing world, used the encyclical — titled “Laudato Si’,” or “Praise Be to You” — to highlight the crisis posed by climate change. He places most of the blame on fossil fuels and human activity, while warning of an “unprecedented destruction of ecosystems, with serious consequence for all of us” if corrective action is not taken swiftly. Developed, industrialized countries were mostly responsible, he says, and are obligated to help poorer nations confront the crisis.

Giaever was one of more than 100 co-signers in a letter to the president in March 2009 that was critical of his stance on global warming, saying, “We the undersigned scientists, maintain that the case for alarm regarding climate change is grossly overstated.

Dr. Giaever, you will have to do some major penance for this one, first with Pope Francis, and then with Emperor Barack.
