The world’s largest collection of thugs and murderers is at it yet again. Two children — just boys — have reportedly been crucified by ISIS for being caught eating during a fast.
As reported by The Independent, “The boys, believed to be under the age of 18, were killed in Syria and their bodies displayed with placards hung around their necks announcing their “crime.”
Their deaths in the town of Mayadin, Deir Ezzor province, were reported by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Monday.
Founder Rami Abdel Rahman said residents reported the boys’ bodies were “suspended from a crossbar” near the so-called Islamic State’s religious police headquarters.
“Apparently, they were caught eating,” he told the AFP news agency, adding that the signs hung around their necks claimed they broke the Ramadan fast “with no religious justification”.According to the Muslim Council of Britain, the requirement for Muslims to abstain from taking food, water of sexual relations from sunrise to sunset during the month does not apply to children, pregnant women, the ill, elderly or people who are travelling.
It is not the first time children have been killed or crucified by Isis – in February, a UN Committee on the Rights of the Child report recorded “several cases of mass executions of boys, as well as reports of beheadings, crucifixions of children and burying children alive.”
“The report (from the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva) emanates from a board of inquiry the Council created in the midst of the 2014 Gaza war. In legalese, the call to arrest Israelis either for trial before the International Criminal Court (ICC), or before any court in any country that the U.N. labels “fair,” reads like this:
The board “calls upon the international community … to support actively the work of the International Criminal Court in relation to the Occupied Palestinian Territory; to exercise universal jurisdiction to try international crimes in national courts; and to comply with extradition requests pertaining to suspects of such crimes to countries where they would face a fair trial.”
To be fair, the U.N. report says this could apply to both parties. In other words, the democratic state of Israel, with a moral and legal obligation to defend its citizens, and the Palestinian attackers bent on genocide are moral equals. Throughout the 183-page tome, the U.N. council “experts” play the old “cycle of violence” trick, otherwise known as “it all started when you hit me back.”
Israel pays while ISIS plays. This is just another example of the farce that the United Nations has become. Each year the United States ponies up close to $8 billion in mandatory payments and voluntary contributions to the United Nations and its affiliated organizations. The biggest portion of this money – about $3 billion this year – goes to the U.N.’s regular and peacekeeping budgets. If that seems like a lot, it is—far more than anyone else pays And sure seems like bad value for money.
SERIOUSLY? Eight BILLION could take care of a lot of wounded veterans, fund college education for a lot of students who can’t afford to go, or fund cancer research. Do we really want to continue to prop up this bunch of clowns?
