Most of us were wondering where the feminists were following the New Years Eve migrant sex attacks all across Europe – the most notable in Cologne.
Rather than denounce the attacks, the female mayor of Cologne blamed the victims, advising women to “maintain arm’s length distance to strangers” to stay safe.
When a Totonto policeman in 2011 advised that women “avoid dressing like sluts” to prevent sexual assault it sparked a feminist backlash, eventually leading to the protest movement known as “Slutwalks.” Signs are currently seen at such events reading “Don’t tell me how to dress, teach men not to rape.”
But apparently such comments are acceptable so long as Muslim men carried out the assault.
You might recall after 9-11, the cover of Newsweek read “Why Do They Hate Us?” Apparently liberals are now going to be asking “Why Do They Rape US?”
You know who agrees with Cologne’s mayor? The Muslim community. As Breitbart reported, an Imam of a Cologne mosque had the following to say:
Speaking to major Russian channel REN TV, Imam Sami Abu-Yusuf’s remarks came during a 12 minute segment bringing Russians up to date with the latest developments in the migrant invasion of Europe. Sandwiched between eyewitness-footage of migrant rampages in Cologne, women being sexually assaulted by apparently Arab gangs, and a segment on a surge of interest in self defence courses in Germany the Imam told the interviewer: “we need to react properly, and not to add fuel to the fire”.Explaining in the view of Salafist Islam why hundreds of women found themselves groped, sexually assaulted and in some cases raped by gangs of migrant men in cities across Germany the Imam said: “the events of New Year’s Eve were the girls own fault, because they were half naked and wearing perfume. It is not surprising the men wanted to attack them. [Dressing like that] is like adding fuel to the fire”.
The tone of the report was telling, expressing no surprise that Muslim mass migration would result in violence and gang-rape.
Well maybe I spoke too soon. In the cartoonish feminist reality Norway lives in, they actually are trying to teach their migrant men not to rape. Yahoo News reports:
In Norway, migrants are being given courses to prevent violence against women, especially rape, and to teach them how to interpret customs in a country that may seem surprisingly liberal to them.
The courses were introduced several years ago, but have become particularly topical after complaints of mass sexual assault on New Year’s Eve in the German city of Cologne, by a crowd of mostly Arab and North African men.
Discussions in those classes are going just as you’d expect:
The need for the course is exemplified when a video normally shown to secondary school students is screened.
In the clip, a party is in full swing. Two teens are making eyes at each other and they kiss. The boy pulls the girl, visibly tipsy, upstairs to a room and locks the door behind them.
He becomes increasingly physical with her, despite the signs of resistance she is displaying. “No means no,” concludes the video.
But the video meets with a range of reactions from the participants.
“He tricked her but the girl should also have been clear and said no and not gone upstairs with him,” says one.
“If a girl kisses me, I figure she wants to sleep with me,” says another.
Linda Hagen intervenes, explaining: “In Norway, it’s quite common to hug, to entwine, to dance very closely without it necessarily leading to a sexual encounter.”
To their credit these classes are focusing on situations where there’s a grey-area. But in the context of the Cologne attacks where a mass sexual assault was organized and carried out in public, these sorts of classes would be completely useless. Call me crazy, but something tells me rapists tend to know their actions are wrong but do it anyway.
