ISIS celebrates Munich attack, but police and media say shooters may be…

GERMANY-SHOOTING-MALLIt’s too early to pinpoint the motive of the Munich attacks, but here’s what we know so far.

Of course, many upon hearing of the attack, immediately feared Islamic terror — in light of the spate of Islamic terror attacks Europe has endured in recent months — including the most recent axe attack on a train just earlier this week. And indeed, ISIS members and sympathizers are celebrating the attack on social media. One Tweet reads that “whole Europe is under our terrorism.”

Express reports that: One account associated with the death cult said: “Thank God, may God bring prosperity to our Islamic State men.”

Another chilling message, sent from an Arabic-language account which supports the caliphate, read: “The Islamic state is expanding in Europe.”

Munich authorities, however, say they do not believe this was an ISIS-inspired attack.

As I write, media are increasingly reporting the shooters may have belonged to a far-right group. One of the shooters is alleged to have yelled “F****** foreigners,” and as today marks the five-year anniversary of Anders Brevik’s massacre, many are speculating that fact isn’t a coincidence. And more and more reports of the shooter’s boots suggest he was wearing boots indicative of “neo-Nazis.”

The shooters are still on the run, and it’s too early to know who they shooters are and and just why they did what they did today.

Whoever they are, Mike Cernovich has some wise thoughts on how the media will spin it:
