Excellent meme DESTROYS liberals’ wage gap myth

The alleged male/female wage gap is an issue I don’t think I’ve ever heard not espoused by my liberal friends.

While it’s true that if we look at all men and all women who work full time, it does appear that women are earning only 77 cents for every dollar earned by a man.

But it’s a stretch to conclude that if we look at a man and women working the same job, with the same experience, working the same number of hours a week, that the woman would earn 23 percentage points less.

There are a number of reasons why men earn more than women that have nothing to do with discrimination, as the info-graphic below outlines:

Need more evidence?

A study commissioned by the U.S. Department of Labor came to “the unambiguous conclusion that the differences in the compensation of men and women are the result of a multitude of factors and that the raw wage gap should not be used as the basis to justify corrective action. Indeed, there may be nothing to correct. The differences in raw wages may be almost entirely the result of the individual choices being made by both male and female workers.”

I’ve always found it interesting that whenever I point this out, I get an enormous amount of push-back from liberals, demonizing me for supposedly trying to explain away sexism. It’s almost as if these kind of people want there to be sexism.
