We just learned the TRUTH about Obama’s immigration practices…

We all know the Obama administration’s doing a horrific job at national security and foreign policy, as evidenced by Russian, Chinese and Iranian belligerence. Along with the rise of the most savage and brutal of Islamic jihadists, ISIS. We also know that during the Obama administration we’ve witnessed a marked increase in Americans in poverty, on food stamps and completely dropped from the workforce. Under President Obama’s tenure, the national debt has risen from $10.67 trillion to now $18.3 trillion.

In year seven, there’s little the Obama administration can claim as success — unless, of course, you want to give credit to the increase of regulations. -And you know the Affordable Care Act is anything but a success for many Americans. And nope, opening up diplomatic relations with Communist Cuba, the Russian reset and the Iranian nuclear deal do not qualify for the positive category.

And now we have a new revelation, as reported by the Associated Press:

The Obama administration deported fewer immigrants over the past 12 months than at any time since 2006, according to internal figures obtained by The Associated Press, as Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton called Obama’s deportation policies too harsh.

Deportations of criminal immigrants have fallen to the lowest levels since President Barack Obama took office in 2009, despite his pledge to focus on finding and deporting criminals living in the country illegally. The share of criminal immigrants deported in relation to overall immigrants deported rose slightly, from 56 percent to 59 percent.

The overall total of 231,000 deportations generally does not include Mexicans who were caught at the border and quickly returned home by the U.S. Border Patrol. The figure does include roughly 136,700 convicted criminals deported in the last 12 months.

Total deportations dropped 42 percent since 2012.

In a statement Tuesday evening, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Jennifer Elzea said the agency “has refined its priorities to improve the quality of its removals by focusing on the most serious public safety and national security threats as well as recent border crossers.

“As a result, overall removals may show a decline, consistent with a substantial drop in overall apprehension, among other factors,” Elzea said.”

Of course the immediate response to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokeswoman’s spin is simple: Kate Steinle. We heard so much about Obama’s deportations being the highest — and even Hillary Clinton chided the so-called Obama policy.

However, we now know the truth. And if we have an administration that refuses to protect our citizenry at home, then what is their priority? Focusing on the most serious public safety and national security threats? C’mon, you have to sell that political doublespeak somewhere else. And where all those illegal immigrants who bum-rushed America a summer ago? How many of those declared illegal immigrant “children” were actually MS-13 gang members?

The Obama administration just issued a new 31-page edict to our U.S. Border Patrol about transgendered illegal immigrants — yeah, I know. Is that really what we want the U.S. Border Patrol to focus upon at this time? And should we be talking about 100,000 Syrian “refugees” entering the United States, at a time when we now know we’re not doing what’s right to deport illegals and protect the American people?

The sad truth, Ladies and Gents, is that one is hard-pressed to ascertain quantitatively successful policies of the Obama administration. And 122K new jobs last month — that may be more than one but it’s horribly anemic. The fact that Obama needs Janet Yellin and the Federal Reserve to prop up the economy is telling.

A president is charged to faithfully execute the duties of the office; those duties are prescribed in the U.S. Constitution. It’s not about an ideological agenda or personal definitions of social justice. And therefore, we’ve suffered under for seven years and the ramifications thereof may not even be fully felt for some time.

Consider the Community Reinvestment Act of President Jimmy Carter. Thirty years later, it manifested itself in a financial meltdown centered on the consequences from the mortgage industry.

Some may feel good about Obama, but ask yourself, what are the consequences for our children and grandchildren? Sadly, Kate Steinle’s parents had to experience those consequences as it relates to the Obama policy towards illegal immigration. And, as evidenced by Hillary Clinton’s criticism of Obama’s deportation policies, things have the potential to get still worse if Americans choose unwisely again in 2016.
