Warning GRAPHIC: Horrifying images of “climate change”

I had a great three days in New York City this week. It’s always grand to meet so many new and fantastic folks and this trip was no different. It was a highlight to present the keynote address to the Institute of Private Investors at the St. Regis Hotel. Imagine a kid born and raised in the inner city of Atlanta standing before a room of over 100 millionaires and some billionaires — ain’t America great? It’s truly worth fighting for the opportunity society —which enabled me to have that honor — to ensure it is preserved for future generations, and the ideal of the dependency society is defeated.

Thursday morning it was a blast to meet some Sailors, Marines, and Coastguardsmen who were in town for Fleet Week. What a pleasure to meet those men and women who are willing to stand upon freedom’s rampart and protect our liberties. They represent the best of who we are.

But as I travelled back to Texas, I was disturbed by the most recent attack of Mother Nature. Yes, the climate has struck again — after all it is our gravest and most dangerous threat to our national security, the most preeminent challenge to our men and women in uniform.

Yes ladies and gents, apparently climate change, that terrible and deadly threat, just gained control of the city of Palmyra in Syria and is threatening destruction of its antiquities and the expansion of the Climate Change Caliphate.

Of course I mean ISIS, and the situation is deadly serious and dangerous indeed — something which seemingly escapes our commander in chief.

As reported by the UK Daily Mail, “Shocking images emerged today showing decapitated bodies strewn across blood-filled streets in Palmyra – victims of the Islamic State’s unrelenting savagery as they stormed the ancient city. The terror group have now seized full control of the historic settlement, putting the world heritage site and its priceless 2,000-year-old artifacts at risk of destruction. The jihadis have also captured the military air base, intelligence headquarters and its notorious prison, where hundreds of inmates have reportedly been liberated. British-based monitoring group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), said ISIS now controlled half of all territory in the war-torn country.”

“Pro-government forces beat a hasty retreat late last night after 100 fighters were slaughtered in violent clashes in just a few hours. It is the first time ISIS has claimed a city directly from the Syrian army and allied forces, which have already lost ground in the northwest and south to other insurgent groups in recent weeks. Beibares Tellawi, an activist in Homs province, said the militants had reached Tadmur prison, where thousands of Syrian dissidents have been imprisoned and tortured over the years.”

Silly me, I thought the United States-led air armada had expanded its operations into Syria — at least that’s what President Obama said. So how is it that this ancient and historical city has fallen to the barbarians?

And trust me, Palmyra — home to a UNESCO World Heritage site, including ancient temples and colonnaded streets — Is now clearly in the target sites of these 7th century Islamic jihadists who, if previous actions give evidence, will be destroying this site of hallowed antiquity.

Remember how the Taliban destroyed the ancient Buddhist statues in Bamiyan province after their rise to power in Afghanistan and also gave safe harbor to al-Qaida, where the attacks against the United States were planned. This is why it is strategically important to destroy ISIS — and not fighting the weather.

Y’all progressive socialists can refer to me as a “neanderthal” and climate change denier all you want — but look at the pictures of more decapitated bodies and tell me — do you seriously believe climate change is the greatest threat to our national security?

If you do, then you are an Islamic jihadist denier and a far greater threat to our national security. There are two things required to defeat ISIS — leadership and resolve. Instead of a commander-in-chief whose apparent delusional national security strategy is based on fighting the seasons, we need someone who isn’t reluctant to identify the enemy and unleash our military might, with victory as the ultimate goal and objective.

As the UK Daily Mail writes, “Syria’s antiquities chief said previously the insurgents would destroy ancient ruins if they took control of it. He said the group was in control of a hospital in the city which Syrian forces had used as a base before withdrawing. ‘The situation is very bad,’ Syria’s antiquities chief, Mamoun Abdulkarim, said after ISIS captured a northern section of the city earlier in the day. ‘If only five members of ISIS go into the ancient buildings, they’ll destroy everything,’ he added, calling for international action to save the city.”

Remember, it was only earlier this year when the jihadists sparked international outrage as they blew up the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud and smashed artifacts in the museum of Mosul, both in Iraq.

This isn’t about nation building or about “being the world’s policeman.” However, there comes a time when, after the lights have been turned, out the roaches appear. This current administration purposefully left a void in the Middle East, turned out the lights, and the roaches that had been eliminated have regenerated. We now call it the Islamic State.

The clock is ticking and if no action is taken because there is some inane belief from this administration that its strategy is successful, someone will be left with the mission of eradicating the bugs. And those of us from down South know, if you don’t kill the roaches early, they multiply exponentially and it becomes harder to exterminate them.

Ya can’t coexist with roaches and roaches don’t want to coexist with you — they just want to infiltrate and infest your home, spreading to every nook and cranny. And there comes a time when the roaches are so emboldened that they don’t wait to come out in the dark — they come out at will in the light.

Kinda reminds me of the recent ISIS daytime victory parade through Ramadi — and where was the big can of Raid?
