The respective Armed Forces Service chiefs recently gathered on Capitol Hill to testify that sequestration will prevent them from defending our homeland. You know, that whole “provide for the common defense” mandate for the federal government. And it’s not just that, but we also shared with you the story of the military Veteran who took his own life in the parking lot of a VA hospital in Long Island. Nonetheless, as we reported to you yesterday, it’s more important for the Obama administration to provide a taxpayer-funded sex change operation for Army PVT Bradley Manning — which will establish a horrific precedent. I have a question, if there are female members of our military who are not pleased with their bosoms, and claim emotional distress, will the military pay for breast enhancement surgery? Or perhaps they already do?
Well, the Obama administration is all about alleviating emotional distress, not for our Veterans of course, but for…
As reported by the Washington Free Beacon, The Obama administration plans to spend $4.6 million next year on health promotion and “emotional wellness” for refugees as President Obama plans a 30 percent increase in the number of refugees admitted into the country.
The Department of Health and Human Services issued a grant forecast last month detailing its plans to issue health care grants for refugees on top of government programs that are already available, such as Medicaid.
“The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) invites States to submit applications for Refugee Health Promotion (RHP) discretionary grant funds,” the grant forecast says. “The purpose of the RHP grant is to support health and emotional wellness among refugees. The program is designed to coordinate and promote local health and mental health services and education.”
The agency said the funding would be in addition to Medicaid and programs that provide cash and medical assistance for refugees.“The RHP grant is intended to encourage partnerships with community-based organizations and complement existing care coordination and medical assistance programs such as Medicaid and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA), which includes refugee medical screenings (RMS), and other ORR-funded social service programs, including Preferred Communities,” according to the grant forecast. Preferred Communities is a job placement program for refugees.
The administration said it would post an official grant announcement on Jan. 6, 2017, less than two weeks before the president leaves office. Funding would be awarded next August. The call for increased health funding comes as President Obama plans to admit 110,000 refugees in fiscal 2017, a 30 percent increase from this year, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
The administration has already admitted 10,000 Syrian refugees this year, and is seeking “a significantly higher number” next year. The president’s plan would admit 40,000 refugees from the Near East and South Asia, including Syria.
Now, let me ask that which is obvious, why are we instituting a job-placement program called “preferred communities” for refugees when we have Veterans, blacks, and young people with rampant and high unemployment levels? And this new grant is above the already-established Medicaid and other programs… who pays for this?
Here it is, simple and to the point folks, you want this to be implemented, then vote for Hillary Clinton who wants even more refugees admitted — and she has already committed to continuing Obama’s fundamental transformation of America. And y’all know that we are going to see a huge expansion in child services; perhaps they will receive free child care services. We know that the SCHIP (State Children’s Health Insurance Program) will explode. And again, I ask, where does the money to pay for all of this come from?
It must be apparent to the Veteran and black community that Barack Obama is not concerned about improving your emotional wellness. I suppose Obama is not concerned whether more Veterans take their lives, as happened in Long Island. And for our military, and the families who are struggling with multiple combat tours, having to go on food stamps in order to feed their families — it does not matter to Obama. We shared with you the leaked memo that outlined the White House desire to dispatch the SecDef to block better funding for our military to cover base operations, providing better services for our men and women in uniform and their families. Obama wants to “attack” the defense budget being developed for final vote as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). He wants to hold our military hostage for increased spending for his “domestic” intentions — that are indicated here as support to the emotional wellness of refugees.
The emotional wellness of the American people has never mattered to Barack Obama — just his ideological agenda. Under his reign, he has delivered more Americans into the emotional distress of unemployment, poverty and food stamps — including our military members. So, simply ask yourself: want more hopey changey Obama version 3.0 via Hillary Clinton? It is a time for choosing.
