BREAKING: State Department makes MAJOR announcement about ISIS…

There are some things which are just so obvious you have to ask why anyone attempts to deny them. If there’s a particular group saying they’re targeting another group for the purpose of extinction — mass killing — because they are of a different group – it can be defined in many ways. Well, that’s what we refer to as genocide.

And finally, the Obama administration seems to have figured that out – but they had to be dragged, kicking and screaming to do it. I want to particularly give a shout out to you, our readers, for raising your voices on this issue.

As reported by the Washington Examiner, In 2015, President Obama signed a provision in the omnibus government funding bill requiring Secretary of State John Kerry to determine by Thursday, March 17 whether the Islamic State’s actions legally constitute genocide.

But yesterday, a State Department spokesman said that deadline would lapse, because Kerry needed more time to “study the atrocities perpetuated by [the Islamic State.” But never mind the fact that the US House of Representatives voted 396-0 on the genocide resolution.

How many times does he need to watch those beheading videos? How many more young Christian girls need to be raped before he makes up his mind?

Well, apparently Kerry finally figured it out and this morning declared that Daesh “in my judgment, is responsible for genocide against groups in areas under its control including Yazidis, Christians and Shiite Muslims.”

Per CNN, Kerry noted ISIS trapped Yazidis killed them, enslaved thousands of Yazidi women and girls “selling them at auction, raping them at will and destroying the communities in which they had lived for countless generations,” executed Christians “solely for their faith” and also “forced Christian women and girls into slavery.

It is interesting to note Kerry did not refer to ISIS as ISIS, IS or ISIL – any acronym which refers to “Islamic.” Instead, Kerry referred to “Daesh.”

Why would that be? Well, Islamic clerics around the world expressed anger at the extremist group being used to portray all of Islam, and requested that it be called by another name.

In any event there were two other points Kerry made which bear noting.

As expected, there was no mention of radical Islam anywhere in his remarks. If there was, I missed it. Kerry did however say “we must marginalize and defeat violent extremists once and for all” – but I just have to ask, who are the other violent extremists in the world today? Who is responsible for this mayhem? And against whom is the term “extremist” mostly used by liberals? I’ll just let y’all figure that one out.

And finally, I am particularly bothered Kerry said words to the effect of we must reject bigotry and discrimination, “which facilitated their rise.” Seriously? ISIS decided to start beheading minority Christians because they were the victims of bigotry in Muslim-dominated nations?

Oh yes, ISIS/Daesh is definitely committing genocide – but don’t forget, they’re actually victims.

Is this why President Obama once said “The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam?” Or why he still officially refers to the Islamic jihadist attack at Ft. Hood as “workplace violence? Or why his response to the Islamic terror attack in San Bernardino was more gun control? Or why after ISIS beheaded an American, James Foley, he took to the golf course?

Because at the end of the day, it was bigotry and discrimination that lead to their rise. It’s payback.
